Approach
It is through our body that we first experience the world.
Every interaction we have, thing or person, passes through our skin and into our very structure. It is through what we feel that we learn to think; every touch, sight, smell, sound and emotion is rooted in our bodies. Our physical interaction with our environment shapes how we experience it. If we never have the visceral experience of flexibility in the body, replicating that in our thoughts and interactions becomes impossible.
Somatic integration is based on the assumption that if we have a balanced interaction with our bodies we will have a balance interaction with our environment and everything in it. We use the principles of movement, balance, strength and flexibility to understand the root of the imbalance and build a strong foundation from the inside out.
